Question
To ask the Scottish Government whether the go-live date for the transition from the Cattle Tracing System (CTS) to ScotEID in Summer 2020 will still be met.
Answer
We have had discussions with the Bovine EID Industry Working Group on the transition from CTS to ScotEID. It was agreed that given the impact of Covid-19 on some third party software providers, as well as the wider farming community that we should delay the transition from Summer 2020 to the end of November.
