Question
To ask the Scottish Government how many (a) prosecutions and (b) convictions there have been each year under the Human Trafficking (Scotland) Act 2015, broken down by the number of (i) adult and (ii) child victims.
Answer
Our records show there were no prosecutions under the Human Trafficking (Scotland) Act 2015 for the financial years 2015-16 and 2016-17. Information relating to the financial year 2017-18 will not be available until early 2019.
