Question

To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S5W-01160 by Fergus Ewing on 14 July 2016, by what date the remaining eligible businesses will be paid in full.

Answer

As at 22 July 2016, the Scottish Government has now paid common agricultural policy 2015 payments (Basic, Greening and Young Farmers) that total £312 million to more than 17,800 farms. Over 16,000 businesses have received their full payment (figures to be revised when known).

At this stage it is not possible to confirm a date for all remaining eligible businesses to be paid, as cases are still undergoing processing.
