To ask the Scottish Government what it has done to improve adherence to deep vein thrombosis (DVT) guidelines when an NHS board has not performed satisfactorily in this regard.

We expect boards to ensure that prevention and management of venous thromboembolism in their board follows all current relevant professional and clinical guidance and take appropriate action to ensure that this practice remains up-to-date.
