Dumfriesshire and East Lothian, and those who live there, will benefit directly and indirectly from a number of the investments set out in the Infrastructure Investment Plan, including Scotland’s Schools for the Future Programme, the new acute mental health facility in Dumfries and Galloway, the re-provision of the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary and hub investment in Gullane Surgery and Day Care Centre and East Lothian Community Hospital, as well as Scotland-wide investment in the transport, digital, energy, housing and water programmes.
