Two Minutes' Silence
It is now the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. I invite members and visitors in the gallery to stand and join in the nation's two minutes' silence in remembrance of those who gave their lives in defence of the freedoms that we enjoy here today.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
