Question

To ask the Scottish Government when the Scottish Statutory Instrument required to enable island community impact assessments under the Islands (Scotland) Act 2018 will be laid.


Answer

The proposed laying date is 3 November 2020, with a coming into force date of 23 December 2020. These dates remain subject to any further urgent legislative work that may be required as a result of COVID-19 and EU Exit.
