Question

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update regarding the position with one-to-one sports coaching during the phases of the route map out of the COVID-19 lockdown.

Answer

Following the First Minister’s statement on 18 June 2020, a group of up to 8 people from two different households can meet up outside. Coaches can now therefore coach up to 7 people from two different households at one time, ensuring social distancing measures were still adhered too.

Alternatively, a coach can hold separate sessions for two different households on the same day but only a maximum of up to 7 people between the two sessions.
