Isla Primary School 2024-26 Gold School Sport Award

That the Parliament congratulates Isla Primary School, in Lintrathen, Kirriemuir, on being awarded a 2024-26 Gold School Sport Award by sportscotland; understands that the award, which is funded by the National Lottery, was made in recognition of the school's excellence in the award’s core areas and for placing sport at the heart of its planning, practice and ethos; is pleased to learn the school has shown a commitment to increasing young people’s opportunities in physical education, school sports and leadership, and to life-long participation in sport; notes that this award brings the total number of gold awards in north east Scotland to 14, and commends all those in receipt of awards for their work in ensuring greater access and participation in sport.
