That the Parliament congratulates the Bihari Community of Scotland on organising the successful Bihar Diwas celebrations on 17 March 2024; recognises the importance of Bihar Diwas, a public holiday in Bihar on 22 March, in commemorating the formation of the eastern Indian state of Bihar in 1912; acknowledges what it sees as the efforts of the leadership of the Bihari Community of Scotland in organising an event in Edinburgh, featuring impressive performances and Bihari food; hopes for the continued success of the Bihari community in Scotland in the future, and wishes the very best to all those involved in the Bihar Diwas celebrations.
